Woocommerce 500 error when using shortcodes

The site was old so I upgraded it by updating plugins (including Woocommerce). Now I get a 500 error on the front end, it turns out to be the shortcode on the page.

Any shortcode will not work:

[products limit="4"]

This will give me 500 error, I enabled debug mode but there are no useful errors, just harmless notices about something else, no fatal error whatsoever. Memory limit is 265MB

This happens on any new page I create, what’s going on?
