TeX - LaTeX Asked by chan1142 on July 17, 2021
I use XeLaTeX. I have only free FontA.otf
(say) installed on my system. The other computer has expensive FontB.otf
(say), too. The final output is to be produced on the other computer using FontB.otf
. Before that I would like to check the layout of the future outcome on my system. Can I create a PDF with metrics for FontB.otf
(but with actual fonts of FontA.otf
)?
I think I can have a one-time access to FontB.otf
on the other system and run codes to get the font metrics for FontB.otf
. If this is possible, what would I have to do?
I cannot copy FontB.otf
to my system due to legal issues. Purchasing FontB.otf
is not an option because there are too many "me"s.
What could I do? Thank you.
