Showing two chapter numbers in TOC

I searched a lot on the internet to find a way to remove extra chapter numbers from the TOC but keep it in the chapter’s page.

If you look at the picture above, you will see an extra 2. beside of chapters’ title for the literature review. Since I need to have chapter number on the chapter page I used chapter{2. Literature Review} that gives me the following picture:

Could you please help me how I can use those chapter number on the related page without showing in TOC.
