References not appearing in my Latex Document

I have a thesis latex document which compiles seperately written chapters into a larger thesis document.
My in-text citations and references list are not showing up in my final compiled PDF.

Is there a reason why this happens? I am compiling, running the bib file and compiling twice as mentioned for the references to build properly. However, I still dont have any luck.
