Numbering the abstract page

I have correctly numbered my pages, but I want my abstract page to be numbered and appear on the contents page.

To do this I have added:

chapter*{Abstract}
addcontentsline{toc}{chapter}{numberline{iv}Abstract}

Now this does appear on the contents page, but the actual abstract page on page iv is not numbered.
