Next Chapter Not Updated with New Chapter number in Thesis

I have total 7 chapters in my LaTeX thesis template. I am getting the names and numbers correctly for first six chapters. But for seventh chapter, the numbering of sixth chapter is carry forwarded and the number of this new chapter has not been updated to 7.
