location of file compiled but never saved on TeXStudio

I started writing a file as a new .tex document and compiled it multiple times. Then my computer crashed and when it reopened it was not on the Last Session that TeXStudio recovered.

Any chance it is hidden somewhere on my computer? Conventional searches (for words contained in the document) turned up nothing. On Mac.
