TeX - LaTeX Asked by user245782 on July 20, 2021
I’m using the textgreek package to produce greek symbols. However, there is a space appearing before the greek symbol when preceded by a hyphen. How do I prevent this.

Since the identification of the cross-textbeta{} structure of amyloid fibres
a cornucopia of techniques have been leveraged to investigate the amyloid fold
cite{Iadanza2018} including: (i) X-ray fibre diffraction, often used as an orthoginal
validation technique in which simulated diffraction patterns are compared with
experimental data cite{Choi2009}; (ii) X-ray crystallography and micro-electron
diffraction of microcrystals, especially useful for determining the structure of small
amyloidogenic peptides cite{Sawaya2007,Krotee2017,Rodriguez2015}; (iii) solid state
gls{nmr}, capable of determining the dihedral angles and inter-atomic distances between
the fibril subunits, facilitating the building of atomic models based on these
constraints cite{Walti2016,Wasmer2008,Tuttle2016,Colvin2016}; and (iv) cryo-gls{em}, a
technology that has been in use for decades, but has only recently become able to resolve
fibrils at atomic detail cite{Gremer2017,Fitzpatrick2017}, an advancement that
represents a step change in the field of structural biology. Utilising these techniques
it has been possible to identify how individual protein subunits can form the
stereotypical cross-textbeta{} structure.
and what it produces
The issue can be seen in line 1 and the final line of the paragraph.
