How to make boxes for fill in the blank questions in exam document class?

I’m going to have a "complete the solution" type of questions where you’re suppposed to fill in your answer in a box. These boxes would be filled with number or even an expression. It should look like the following.

How would you do it in exam document class? Should I use a different class?
