Glossary per chapter only generate unique/first used terms (follow-up to previous question)

There was an excellent answer to how to make a glossary per chapter, it was asked in the comments but not addressed, how could you do it IF you wanted ONLY the first time a term was used.

This is for making basically a study guide, so each chapter would highlight just the NEW definitions/terms.

Shall the glossary of a section (say) only contain items that are
defined first in this section, or all items used in this section? (If
