Cut Copy and Delete not working in Edit Menu (grey color) or by using CTRL+X

All of a sudden redo, cut copy and delete not working using TeXShop 4.44

I am using MacBook PRO with Mojave 10.14.6 Don’t know if any
update was made since I have automatic updates on many things.

Also on the edit menu these features went from black to gray
