I am looking for a character to indicate a missing paragraph. It is used in German schools when correcting essays.
The character is used like this and looks like the red one here (source):
I have tried:
rfloor
and lceil
, where I would need a combination of bothparagraph
, which is not what I need.I am not looking for ¶ textparagraph
, of course.
You can easily construct the symbol using rule
s
documentclass[a4paper,12pt]{article}
usepackage{xcolor}
newcommand*{missingpar}{%
unskip
makebox[0.5em][c]{%
color{red}%
rule[-.5ex]{.5em}{1pt}%
rule[-.5ex]{1pt}{2.6ex}%
rule[dimexpr2.1ex-1ptrelax]{.5em}{1pt}%
}%
}
begin{document}
ttfamily
bis zum bitteren Zeilenende. missingpar Hier soll ein Absatz eingefügt werden
end{document}
