using remmina to connect through gateway without username or password

I’m trying to connect to a remote desktop which uses a gateway server. when using windows standard rdp program it only asks me for a server name, no username or password required. but when I use my linux pc with remmina it asks me for a password and username, which do not exist. leaving them empty does not work, am I missing something?
