Automatic sleep vs Manual sleep

I think I have a weird problem.

I have Lenovo X1 7th Gen with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

Recently, I had a motherboard change and battery replacement. Since then, several problems started. I could not set up the PIN or Touch ID, WIFI disconnects when system goes to sleep, when I wake it from sleep the system freezes and it must be restarted and several others. Somehow, everything is resolved by setting up a new user account.

The final issue is, when I lock the system and wake it back by giving the password, system is good. But when the system locks by itself and I wake it up by entering the password, it behaves weirdly – system freezes, Windows applications do not respond and the only option is to restart the machine.

I tried several YouTube videos and several forums. I tried different things but did not work. I tried checking hard disk for corruption via CMD and many others.
