Stack Overflow Asked by Marko I. on December 26, 2020
I’m using the Frontend Pro plugin which allows me to create custom Woocommerce forms that can be submitted from the frontend. Now I also have the plugin "Product Addons" installed which allows me to enable/disable certain custom field that comes with it. This is a checkbox field in question with the meta name: alg_wc_pif_enabled_local_1
So this field should be edited through two forms: Standard Woocommerce edit page and my custom Frontend form.
I created form field in this custom form with this exact meta name . However, I can see that checkbox is not saving in this alg_wc_pif_enabled_local_1
field.
I’ve noticed that the form field ids are different and maybe that’s why the it’s not saving the field in Woocommerce edit page.
In Woocommerce edit page, the id
for this field alg_wc_pif_enabled_local_1
In the frontend edit page, the id
for this field is alg_wc_pif_enabled_local_1_1130
Is there any way where I could define the same id for this field? Since I presume that is the reason why it’s not saving the field. Open to hear suggestions.
Thanks
