Unknown chip on PCB

Reverse Engineering Asked by ilfreddy on October 26, 2020

I’m working on reverse engineering a PCB coming from a crepuscolar lamp. I’ve identified all the other chips on this board but this one refuses to give up any google-able info. Are there any resources that can help me identify what kind of chip this is? Referring to the purpose of the PCB, I suppose it’s a simple comparator, but I’m not sure.

On the chip you can read LS-SEE V11 1811 and the PCB says "U2"

I discovered that:
PIN 1: Vcc 5V
PIN 2: NC?
PIN 3: NC?
PIN 4: NC?
PIN 5: NC?
PIN 6: connected to DIMMER control pin of led driver chip (pin 2 of a MT7816)
PIN 7: connected to ground with capacitor and to katode of photodiode
PIN 8: GND
