How can I make CNOT matrix in multiple qubits system?

I wonder how can I make or build CNOT gate in matrix form in multiple qubits system. I already know how to make CNOT matrix when target and control qubits are adjacent(ex, 1st : control, 2nd : target). But, I didn’t know when they are far away each other(ex, 1st : control, 4th : target).
Plus, when building hadamard gate in multiple qubit system, I only need to do is kronecker producting of identity matrix and hadamard matrix. But, I don’t know when I use CNOT.
Please help me.
