Can Neuralink really be used for memory implantation?

Psychology & Neuroscience Asked by Ákos G on October 5, 2020

I think you heard about a company called Elon Musk Neuralinnk.
The ultimate goal of Neuralink is to achieve human memory implantation.

Doctors were prepared to implant the first bionic eye in a human.
Named Gennaris, the system was developed by Monash University in Australia and involves a technology that uses a camera to transmit the image seen to the brain.
The unit consists of a small camera that transmits the seen image to the image processing chips via a wireless transmitter. After processing, the information travels to the brain.

Is it possible to perform a memory implantation with this (or similar) technical solution?
