If you use light to try and synchronize clocks to meassure the one-way speed of light it doesn’t work, because if c is not constant in all directions, the clocks are not synchronized to beginn with and you would meassure the one-way speed of light as c, no matter what. Why can’t you use sound waves to synchronize two clocks and meassure the one-way speed of light?
