I am designing a Physics II course (for scientists and engineers) for the next semester (Spring I or Spring II).
I am looking for online resources for the Lab: ideally all laboratories will be held through online simulations (as the course will be mainly conducted online).
The material of the course, roughly corresponds to Ch. 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, from the Young-Freedman textbook and i am planning (at least) 5 labs on the following topics:
(An additional lab on standing waves might also be included).
I have already made some search and there’s plenty of online material but since it’s my first time designing that, i would be grateful if somebody more experienced could add some trustworthy sources for online Laboratory simulations and/or some ideas/advices/details etc on what to pay attention to.
The idea is for the students to carry the labs in a way as close to the "real thing" as possible: I am intending to ask them to "take measurements" and to proceed in writting lab reports (rather than simply filling questions sheets on what they did).
