Nanodiamond Energy Levels

What does it mean to have E or 3A2 energy levels in diamond? For some reason it doesnt conclude with spectroscopic notation found in the Internet.

The question in specific resides in these E or A letters and numbers meaning.

Would someone be nice to explain briefly these nanodiamond energy levels?
