In a typical (simple, 1D) Ising model, we have
$$mathcal{H}=-frac{J}{2} sum_{langle i, jrangle} sigma_{i} sigma_{j}-B sum_{i} sigma_{i}, quad sigma_{i}=pm 1$$
However, what is the typical value of $J$ that can be used in an experiment?
