Is there any relation between turbulent energy dissipation and pressure loss?

Physics Asked by CaptainCombo on August 6, 2021

It is known that pressure loss depends on viscosity of fluid. However I learned today that energy dissipation rate in turbulent flow is independent of viscosity. It sounds like there is a contradiction between these two info. How pressure loss can be higher in high viscosity fluids if kinetic energy disipation is independent of viscosity?
