Dipole matrix element

The dipole matrix element μ 12 of a transition between two states of the hydrogen atom given by mathematical value and polarization of the dipole moment. I know that the polarization is linear when the deference in magnetic quantum number is zero and circular when its equal 1. What about when delta m =2 ?
How the matrix element and the polarization becomes?
