Why won't my YN-622C-TX power up?

I have bought a Yongnuo YN622C-TX flash trigger along with a YN685 flash. When I first checked the trigger it was working fine. I removed the batteries, then I also checked my flash. I was using non-rechargeable AA size batteries. But when I replaced the batteries in the trigger it won’t turn on. I changed the batteries and used two rechargeable batteries but there’s no power. When I turn on the trigger it only gives a dlash on screen and other lights. I also tried with new batteries. Could it be the trigger is permanently broken?
