Philosophy Asked on December 17, 2021
I am writing an article on Massachusetts Proposition 3, which will give prisoners the right to vote. This is hard news, not a persuasive essay. The goal is to present the facts and competing arguments to the reader and allow them to reach their own conclusions. If I do not include arguments both for and against this measure, my article has fundamentally failed.
The problem I am having is that I cannot find any decent arguments against the measure. Do you know any philosophers or politicians that hold this position? Once I get pointed in the right direction, I should be able to do all the research myself.
