When filing for NY State taxes, filing as a non-resident, whom worked 130 days in NY state, but half way through the year, went on maternity leave, not being paid from the NY Workplace, but getting Insurance (through work/NY State) Payments for:
However, during the whole period of the maternity leave and the whole period of getting the payments from the Insurance company that person was not living in NY state. The insurance company sent a W2 for the total sum that was paid out. Should that amount be added to the New York Schedule A - Allocation of Wage and Salary Income
