What is the music in Sarah Hughes's 2002 Winter Olympics ice skating video?

The video titled "Amazing Figure Skating Gold For Underdog Sarah Hughes – Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympics" from the official Olympics YouTube channel shows figure skater Sarah Hughes‘s long program in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, for which she ended up winning the gold medal.

Her original program music was a medley of Maurice Ravel‘s Daphnis et Chloé and Sergei Rachmaninoff‘s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini and Piano Concerto No. 2.

However, in this video, the music has been replaced with a different instrumental piece. Does anyone know what the new music is? (Several commenters on the video also ask, and none of them know either.)

Shazam and SoundHound will both identify the music as 2Hurt’s "Days of Wine and Roses". However, I do not believe that is the actual origin of the instrumental piece; instead, I think 2Hurt also samples the same original piece:

• First, the skating video is purely instrumental, but 2Hurt’s "Days of Wine and Roses" is filled throughout with a voiceover of poetry lines by Jack Kerouac.

• Second, the skating video was uploaded in early (February) 2012. 2Hurt’s "Days of Wine and Roses" was released on the 2013 album Mexico City Blues. The earliest appearance of that song on YouTube, uploaded unofficially (not by the artist, but by a fan), is a year-and-a-half later in June 2013, with the later official video of that song being released in October 2015 and noting in its description:
