New alternator, now no power

2005 ford focus zx4 sedan 2.0l
Installed new alternator,
Radiator and spark plugs recently

While installing alternator I had to install a new plug because the one that was on it didn’t work I believe they gave me a california emissions alternator from what I found out. since installing it when I turn the car on everything comes on for about 30seconds then I lose the odometer, power mirrors, interior lights, turn signals, brake lights, radio. When the switch is turned over to just power everything stays on. Any ideas?
