My 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 starts but if I don't keep my foot on the gas pedal and keep the rpms up, it dies

Before this started my battery would be dead if sitting for 2 or more days. I’d jump it, it would run fine then after driving a few miles it would just die and not start for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Now after sitting about a week, it started right up, no battery problem, but wont stay running unless I’m revving the motor. The second I take my foot off the pedal it dies.

Bought a code reader. It powers on but wont give any Codes or even read my VIN.
