Inline free form Input

Typing in free form English language at the beginning of a line works totally fine, but as soon as I want to use the free form Input within the line it doesn’t. As far as I’m concerned it should work with ctrl + =.

On my keyboard I have to press shift + 0 to type in =. So it should be possible with the shortcut ctrl + shift + 0. Actually on a normal mathematica notebook in works like that, but it doesn’t on the cloud.

Anyone an idea why?
