Magento 2 - Custom widget chooser field select custom content type

I am wondering if this is possible.

I’m trying to build a custom Widget with a Chooser field on the Admin that would select a custom Content type named "Event" item.

By default, Chooser is only possible when selecting Category and Products but not with Pages or Custom Content-Type.

Please share some info. Thank you
