Dalton wall mount garage door opener doesn't work

Question

My Wayne Dalton garage door opener, model 3790/3790z, wall mount used to open the door.  The manual said that I could lock the door by using the wall mount.
When I tried to lock door, it didn't work, so in frustration I started punching all of the buttons. Now the wall mount doesn't work.
Can I fix it? How?

Unplug the opener, for at least 5-hours, to kill all power to the opener and the wall mount switch. According to Dalton, this should reset everything and put you back in business...assuming you didn't crack the wall mount's board....you'll need a new wall mount if that's the case.
