Using wild card selection for value while running feature class iterate in ModelBuilder

I am running iterate in ModelBuilder with an input feature class that has a similar field in another feature class. The basic principal of what I am trying to do seems to work but I cannot figure out how to implement the wild card functionality in the select by attribute while using the Value produced by the iterate function. Below is where I am currently. It’s two different processes, the first iterates through a field in one feature class and the other selects by the Value of that iterate but the fields in the second feature class are more complex than the first so I am trying to use FieldName Like ‘%Value%’ to pull all of the features in the second feature class that have at least one instance of the Value in their data. The select function however doesn’t seem to recognize the wild card and only pulls the fields that have an exact match for the Value.
