Updating tables from QGIS to pgAdmin

Geographic Information Systems Asked by Paulo Martinho on May 17, 2021

I have created a connection between QGIS (ver. 3.10.1-A Coruña) and PostgreSQL (pgAdmin 4).

Every time I edit/update my table in QGIS I have to delete the table in PostgreSQL and re-import again the updated table from QGIS.

How can I update the table without deleting it?

One Answer

In PGAdmin4, open the db/schema/table tree. Right click on the table. A context menu will appear and there will be an option to REFRESH. Also note the comments about about "COMMIT". See also the manual http://127.0.0.1:32927/help/help/editgrid.html
