StoryMap Layout - How to get pop up text from map to appear in docked left panel

I found this story map on ArcGIS Online, and I’m trying to figure out how I can replicate the layout in my own story map. What I want to do is have a map on the right with my point data, and have the information from the pop-up with the corresponding point appear on the left side of screen in a docked text panel.

The closest I can get is using the sidecar panel with the map on the right hand side, but when I click the pop up, it appears within the map which I don’t want.
