Results disappear after SAGA toolbox operation completes (QGIS)

Geographic Information Systems Asked on August 14, 2021

I’m running into this problem on QGIS 3.18 and 3.16.

When I run the SAGA multiple regression analysis-tool, there seems to be no issues in completing the task. From the log-window the following appears:

C:OSGeo4W64bin>exit
Execution completed in 47.98 seconds
Results:
{'INFO_COEFF': 'C:/Users/Gebruiker/AppData/Local/Temp/processing_sASWWc/f6fe324738e54a47a620ebe3fcf49a1a/INFO_COEFF.shp',
'INFO_MODEL': 'C:/Users/Gebruiker/AppData/Local/Temp/processing_sASWWc/06f08311e82e4a09bc3f1dcbe65cbd83/INFO_MODEL.shp',

However, immediately thereafter, I get the following errors:

You can check the 'Log Messages Panel' in QGIS main window to find more information about the execution of the algorithm.

It is as if the files are deleted instantaneously and can therefor not be loaded. Has anyone ran into this issue before and found a way to work around it?

Things I have tried

  • Save to a (non-temporary) file at a different location. Result: there are no files there, though they appear to have been there temporarily as I can see (but not open) them from the ‘recently opened’ section in my file explorer.
