Resizing a Raster (Row and column values) using GDAL in Spyder

I’m trying to extract the LST values from MODIS daily LST product for 3 months. So I’m Using Timeseries analysis to extract multi raster values to a point shapefile. The main problem here is that the size of the raster is too high for this process, i.e; The row and column values are (351,545) so the code is not running for such high values.

If there is any code to resize the rasters using python, please let me know. I’m new to programming.
