Map generation using MapProxy & Openlayer

I am new to openlayer 5 & mapproxy & I am trying to generate map using MapProxy 1.12 & openlayers5. I am using ubuntu 16.04 & have created virtual environment as in this document https://mapproxy.org/docs/1.12.0/install.html#create-a-new-virtual-environment . I was previously using openlayer2 with mapnik & tilecache (used xml, tilecache.cfg & javascript for openlayer 2) .

I have started the test server & got the demo page 127.0.0.1:8080 (as in https://mapproxy.org/docs/1.12.0/install.html#create-a-new-virtual-environment). And cache tiles are creating but I want to generate tiles from my own database. I am totally confused now . Please help.
