I’m loving the new Temporal Controller!
One issue I have found is that the ‘Identify Features’ function does not seem to respect the temporal range specified in the temporal controller. In contrast, if I use a Filter (rather than the temporal controller) to restrict the displayed features then ‘Identify Features’ only selects displayed features.
Worth writing a bug report?
Edit in response to the comment requesting more detail follows:
I’m using QGIS 3.14.1-Pi from the QGIS Debian repository under Debian 10.
Details of the problem:
I have a temporal (single date column) PostGIS layer consisting of Polygons and MultiPolygons. I select a fixed range for temporal navigation and narrow my view down to only two polygons. I use the Identify Feature function to select one of those two polygons. QGIS responds with five different polygons, the one I wanted plus four more than are not within the fixed temporal range.
If it’s really useful I can work on producing a minimal test case to demonstrate the issue. For now I’m hoping/assuming this is sufficient info to identify the problem.
