Creating average geometry for lines whose buffers intersect

I am learning SDO. I have started new project with SDO geometry. Here is some problem we have faced. We want a script where the x and y geometries in the intersecting buffers will be updated with the center geometries in the SDO geometry, but only for the part of the geometry array that have intersecting buffers. The part of the array that do not have intersecting buffers should not be touched.
