Can I add KML to a georeferenced PDF and retain georeferencing?

I would like to be able to take a KML file and combine it with a georeferenced PDF so that the KML data shows on top of the georeferenced PDF map within the PDF file. I have read that i can add .shp files to a PDF but have not managed to accomplish that, but is there a way to not have to convert the KML to shapefile before importing into the PDF?

I need to be able to do this without ArcMap or QGIS.
