Can a Python program which calculates points along a line be used directly in ArcGIS?

I have a Python program that calculates points, that is (x,y) coordinates. Can I have this integrated somehow in ArcGIS (PRro) so that these points are directly shown on a map?

I am a beginner combining Python with ArcGIS.
