ArcGIS Pro line symbology: adding gap in line where a shape marker is

I have a created a line symbology template with shape markers at regular intervals along the line, as shown in the picture below.

I want to make it so that where there is a shape marker there is a gap in the line, like this:

Is there a way to do this?
