What does ‘Snake in my ear” mean?

Some older person was talking about evicting some renters from her property, and she said to me “she had a snake in her ear”.

It means that she is a fake friend. She listens and then backstabs with the info given.
It’s a form of speech, like "you hit the nail on the head" for example.

It can also mean she is untrustworthy.
