Transfer "between" or "among"

Context: I want to explain that users can transfer their remaining funds with one specialist between/among others. Users can transfer funds from one specialist to another in full (they can’t transfer 20% to one specialist and 30% to another out of their remaining funds with the previous specialist).

Sentence(it’s a title of a document): Transfer of funds between/among freelancers

I’ve looked it up on this resource https://www.freecollocation.com/search?word=transfer and it says that I need to use "between." Is it true because funds can be transferred from one specialist to another? Can I use "among" for a broader sense? Later in my text, I explain the mechanics of how to make a transfer. Does "among" sounds more natural in this context?
