Single word request: describing analyses different geographical levels

I am writing a methodological paper about statistical methods for identifying disparities in different geographical levels (country-level and state/county-level).

Would it be correct to use "nation" to describe a geographical level, meaning country-wide?

Applying analysis A and B for identifying nation and regional level disparities in income.
