Single word for the act of exercising discretion

English Language & Usage Asked by Gavin S on February 16, 2021

I feel like this is something that should have one word.

Looking for past, present, and future tenses.

If something says:
"The organization is given the discretion to enact this policy as they see fit."

I could say:
"Our organization does not [discress]"
