I have this text from a book that asks to choose repeating or repeated to form the correct sentence.
I think both are grammatically correct but why is repeated prefered over repeating?
The text is:
"…
These are signs of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS)*. It keeps people from doing tasks by hand. Generally, it happens due to [repeating/repeated] wrist actions.
…"
