Past vs Future in two sentences

English Language & Usage Asked by user380431 on December 26, 2020

Could you, please, help me to figure out whether the following statements are correct or not?

Talking about the recent past,

  1. “My internet service got restored.” or “My internet service get restored.“?

And talking about a future act, is this correct?

  1. When my internet service will get restore, I will back online.

One Answer

1/ My internet service just got restored.

2/ When my internet service gets restored, I will get back online.

You can't use the future here. You have to use the present.
